Required Background Screening and Certifications

In order to provide our players with a safe playing environment, we comply with the coaching requirements enforced by US Soccer, the Illinois Youth Soccer Association (IYSA), and other governing bodies. As an IYSA club, we are strictly held to the requirements and our operations can be suspended if a random audit finds any coach did not complete all the requirements.

Before your first practice/game of the season, you must complete all three of the requirements listed below:

1. Background Screening (yes, every year, and even if you just had one done for work or another organization)
2. CDC Heads-Up Concussion Awareness Certification (required once; upload your certificate each year)
3. SafeSport Certification (every two years, but a refresher version is required every year)
